Seabird is another awesome band that is on tour right now extremely busy but still was compassionate enough to give their time by sitting down while on tour and answering a bunch of questions about faith, life, and the music while probably sitting down just after a show or while drinking their morning coffee. Although I normally love to talk to the band by phone so that I can hear their voices I did get to meet Seabird. They didn’t know it was me but it was at their show in Tampa when they were here with the Church Music Tour with David Crowder. They were so cool. They talked to the fans after they were on and even stayed after the concert to see goodbye to everyone as we were all leaving. I got a picture of the band while they were out taking pictures with the fans. The show was amazing. Seabird rocked it. Now that I’ve read their answers to my questions, I only wish I had stayed that night and asked them in person. Ryan Morgan the bands guitarist answered these questions for us.

Where you brought up in a Christian home?
Yeah, our dad was a pastor and is now a missionary.

What was it like growing up for you/where are you from?

We grew up in Northern Kentucky, about ten minutes south of downtown Cincinnati. It's a conservative area so good for families. I remember Larry Flynt being on the news a lot because they wouldn't let him put a Hustler n downtown Cincinnati. We went to a lot of Reds games growing up and went fishing a lot in creeks that ran off the Ohio River with our uncle. You can't eat fish from the Ohio River in this area but luckily we never caught much despite our uncle's sweet fishing boat. Our parents’ home schooled us our whole lives which enabled us to watch "The Price is Right" almost every day. You learn really practical math from "The Price is Right". We are seriously thankful for the opportunity to be home schooled all the way through though because it allowed us to pursue music at early ages.

What age where you when you knew you wanted to be in music?

Probably 15 for me but Aaron didn't seriously consider it till he was nearly 20.

When did you decide or know that you would use your talents for The Lord?

Both of us were taught by our Dad that we should do everything as unto the Lord so I don't think there was ever really a point where we specifically made that type of decision regarding music.
